The control panel, the floating Unit Costs, 2 graphs and several of the user friendly what-if input forms I developed for the Orange County Water District demonstrate the power of VB and OLE.  The data from the Microsoft Excel 97 spreadsheet (not shown) is mapped to the cells with spinners for ease of use. Spreadsheets are powerful, but if they become too complex, it is time to put a pretty front end on them. Anyone can now do what-ifs and see what the bottom line cost per unit of water is going to be.
